German Ad Doesn’t Need Words To Speak Volumes About Supporting Your Kids
Being a teenager is hard. But the German home improvement chain Hornbach knows having parents who go the extra mile to show their support can make a big difference.
Watch the full commercial that will sum those awkward high school years perfectly here.

This is the kind of dad I want to be.
There’s a distinct lack of Justice Riders fanart; wanted to remedy that. Tried out a skritchier, heavier inking style for fun; dunno if it looks alright or not. Feel free to critique it.
Anyway, if you don’t know, the Justice Riders was a DC Elseworld’s tale from 1998. It was a one-shot re-imagining some of the characters as old West (and steampunk) heroes. I loved it; I love the roster for the Riders as well as Westerns in general so this was right up my alley (main complaint was it was too short and purposefully didn’t give away many backstories, probably in the hope Chuck Dixon (writer) would get to return to this universe but never did.)
Anyway so at the top we have Katar (Hawkman.) I wish he’d been given more to do in this story; he’s the only one without a specific purpose other than helping out Diana.
From left-to-right “The Kid” Flash (Wally West), an outlaw wanted for murder and the quickest draw.
“John Jones” (J’onn Jonzz, the Martian Manhunter.) A mysterious man who’s looking for someone equally mysterious.
Sheriff Diana Prince (Wonder Woman). Loved that she’s the main character and leader. Would have preferred some more women in the comic as she’s literally the only one.
Booster Gold, a con man (not much of a stretch.) He’s also not really given much of a reason for wanting to follow Diana. For whatever reason he’s the one to make a comment about her attractiveness, I guess to up-play the rogue thing, but it was sort of annoying and out-of-place (as well as when has Booster been attracted to WW; that was always Ted’s thing.)
Beetle (Blue Beetle), a weapons manufacturer and inventor hinted to be in hiding as he never takes off his helmet and never says his real name. Likely over a never-revealed past encounter with the main villain, Max Lord (sort of a ‘whoa’ moment there as this was many years written before Max’s twist of his mustache and that one particular comic.) Chuck Dixon doesn’t have the same kind of humor as Ted’s usual writers and instead just writes him as being very bizarre, which is fine by me. Adorable-yet-creepy weirdo. He thinks the antenna on his hat ‘conducts negative ions to his brain to help him calculate.’
Anyway hope y’all like this one; hoping to do some art of JR’s-version Guy Gardner and Max Lord too eventually.

Roxy decided that she needed to be in the photo
This makes me laugh so hard. Like a photobombing bird torpedo.
Congratulations on your recreation of the classic surrealist painting Man in a Bowler Hat by Rene Magritte (1964)
