I got dressed in my traditional Indian regalia, but there was a man, he was the producer of the whole show. He took that speech away from me and he warned me very sternly. “I’ll give you 60 seconds or less. And if you go over that 60 seconds, I’ll have you arrested. I’ll have you put in handcuffs.”

An officer threatens to kill a journalist and those around him since he’s not credential press. He then threatens everyone around the guy with live rounds. If you don’t know what those are, they’re real bullets.

Another journalist tried to ask his name but all he said was “Go fuck yourself”.

The tag trending for this guy on twitter, funny enough, is #officergofuckyourself.

Please spread, Ferguson is not safe. Don’t forget about it.

a cop just threatened to shoot the livestream operator in the face please continue to boost the stream links all over so that these journalists life and death efforts reach as many people as possible

The confrontation is at 01:04:10. The officer’s shouting a lot, and I can’t make out all of it, but I hear, “turn that shit off! turn it off,” and, “you turn that off, or you’re getting shot with this.

That officer then leaves when another officer (later identified as Captain Todd) steps forward to take over the situation. Todd acknowledges what happened (the cameraman repeats what was said and Todd says “I heard him” at 01:04:50).

The cameraman asks Todd repeatedly for the name of the officer who threatened him, but Todd won’t give him the name. Instead he identifies himself as Captain Todd. (The cameraman also hands his card to another man in a red shirt who doesn’t appear to be dressed as an officer, but who promises that he’ll report it to Captain Johnson.)

Note: The page seems to have refreshed itself or something, and now I can’t rewind to this part of the footage anymore. Anyone know how to access the older live stuff? I don’t see a separate video for it.

ETA: The archived footage is here.
