the priests and the friars
they approach me in dread
for I love you still
oh, my life, and you’re dead

Oh death
Where is your sting
Hey guys! You should check out Fandom Grandma’s blog if you want a bit of Fandom History 🙂 https://spockslash.tumblr.com/
Up until Feb 2018, Fandom Grandma Dee was active in the Spirk and Star Trek communities. She was over 70 years old and was still active in fandom and shipping, and was around for so long that she was able to befriend most of the cast and crew of Star Trek, having been a fan since it came out in the sixties.
She sadly passed away this year, but she shines as one of the greatest examples of just… being able to find joy in fandom for as long as you live. She was also active in LGBTQ+ rights and raised and supported a happy and proud gay son. She was a Blessing and a Gift.
Tony naming the September Foundation in memory of his mother.
The concept art in The Art of Captain America: Civil War shows that it was originally/ alternatively called the “Maria Stark Foundation”. Instead he chooses to name it after the song Maria was singing for him at the beginning of the movie.
It doesn’t change the fact that they never made it to the airport… or all the things I did to avoid processing my grief.

“Do you know what it’s like watching someone you love die thinking you hate them?” Steve says.
“No,” Tony says, that dead smile on his face again. “I wouldn’t know anything about that.”
Watching old episodes of Parts Unknown and being struck by little moments like these. What an extraordinary tragedy.
