Mild Autism does not mean that I experience Autism mildly.

Mild Autism means you experience my Autism mildly.

Me, because I will keep writing my thoughts until someone quotes me for having them. (via gingeraspie)

I’ve had enough of people claiming disabled characters aren;t disabled (notably Toph and Bucky) because they’re too badass or its insulting to how cool they are or some shit

being disabled is not an insult to these characters or to anyone, it is a fact and it is not something to try and deny because you have a narrow and limited view of disabled people

There’s a very powerful movement going on right now on the internet that, you know, women are kind of coalition building in a very cool way. I’m talking about #nomakeup. You can search it if you don’t believe me, but some brave women are mustering up all their courage, and they will post a photo onto the internet in which they are wearing no makeup whatsoever. I’m serious. But when they post the photos, they’ll always make a big announcement in the caption, they’ll be like “In the following photograph, I, Cassandra, am not wearing any makeup!”

yo just a quick reminder to my underage followers that if you’re made uncomfortable by adults being in your online social sphere, you are 10000% within your rights to ask those adults to unfollow you.

the line between ages online can be perceived as a lot thinner than irl because you’re interacting through text, so boundaries can either be muddled or dissipate completely. if you’re uncomfortable with the implications of someone 30+ cracking dirty jokes around you (as a teenager) or liking/reblogging your selfies, you are absolutely allowed to ask that they not interact with you any further.

the responsibility of not doing weird + creepy shit and ensuring your comfort falls on the adult, and if they refuse to comply b/c they think that’s a stupid reason, block them.

Mike Brown’s Mom Is Taking Her Son’s Case to the UN in Geneva

Lesley McSpadden, the mother of the 18-year-old boy whose death at the hands of a Ferguson police officer in August sparked weeks of protests, is going to Geneva, Switzerland next month to speak about her son and other victims of police brutality in front of the United Nations.

The trip — which was recently made public by organizers and promoted under the taglineFerguson to Geneva — is meant to make a case, to as wide an audience as possible, that both Brown’s killing and the militarized police response to protesters demanding justice for him, are a matter of human rights.
