Continued, there’s too much good stuff in this issue for one post.

This whole argument is beautiful, because it demonstrates Steve and Tony’s conflicting approaches to things like personal rights and killing super dangerous villains.  It’s a song and dance these two return to again and again.

Meanwhile, Tigra solves the issue by kicking the shit(?) out of the baddie while delivering Erskine’s serum speech from Captain America: The First Avenger.  The baddie surrenders and restores everyone’s stuff, except for Tony’s armor–it’s too intricate to fix–so he whips up a red and gold Iron Man leisure suit for Tony to wear home.  Avengers v1 #216

sirsapling:

“Maybe I’m really hurt Cap, I might need mouth to mouth, I did it for you”

“Back to work, you Drama king.”

Seventh fill for the @cap-ironman Bingo 2018 for the square ‘World is Ending (It must be Tuesday’

Theres a dual purpose to this one, as it’s also my contribution to 616 day!, it’s still 6.16 somewhere 😉

See it here on Twitter.

The summary of Iron Man vol. 1 #314 says it all: To treat Captain America’s paralysis, Tony Stark shrinks down to microscopic size and enters his bloodstream. The mission: to plant a biochip inside Cap’s body that will restore his mobility.

If that doesn’t say Tony is devoted to Cap and Steve trusts him without question, I don’t know what is.
