ronniecreations:

i was thinking how harley instantly called tony by his name and how peter keeps up the “mister stark” and i thought

when they first met, tony introduced himself as just “tony”. same as he did with harley. but peter decided to stick to last name basis… and so did tony

and i can’t help feeling it was low-key making fun of peter being so formal. like. throughout sm: hoco tony calls peter “mister parker” or “kid” and usually it is “kid” when he’s worried, like “kid, you alright?” and with “mister parker” it’s lighthearted “mr. parker, got a second?” and just

tony inwardly laughing at this kid trying so hard to appear mature and adult and just playing along to make peter feel cool and calling this 15 year old “mister” idk it gets me all fluffy???

and then in infinity war it’s suddenly “pete” while peter keeps up the “mister” and i can see the “alright kid it’s just tony, we‘re there” cause it’s been long enough and apparently he has to spell it out for peter or he’ll call him formally for eternity but the kid. he’s just. “yeah no, that’s cool” and does continue with the “mister” bc he got used to it, too late, it’d be weird now

is that a headcanon? i think it’s a headcanon

spidey-art:

“So, is this a kind of ‘Spies Like Us’ situation?”

“First of all, I resent that. Second, this is actually serious and if I so much as breathe a whiff of a Goldfinger monologue-ist I’m calling your babysitter.”

“Okay, Okay, I get it! ‘Be cool, Sodapop’.”

“…Jesus, kid, we really need to update your movie collection.”

There are so many layers of pop culture references in this post I can’t even.
