Weird ways for Aisha to open the show.
Some context:
“Aisha has a dick” has been a recurring joke on the show for years now. In this game of SFAH Wayne also used the same premises for his scene. Here you can see Colin realising that this is a transphobic joke and trying change the scene to something else while still being funny. A lot of people have heard about this incident but haven’t seen it and aren’t sure exactly what happened so I finally giffed it.
So don’t give them back to our oppressors by telling other queer folks we can’t use those words for ourselves ❤

Reasons not to donate to Salvation Army this holiday season:
- They don’t pay their female pastors. (Their wages get added to their husbands’ paychecks.)
- They turn away gay people from homeless services and other programs.
- They fire people for having mental illnesses.
They also killed a trans woman, Jennifer Gale, by refusing her access to one of their shelters.
That trans crisis hotline I linked the other day? Totally legit. Last night I talked to a wonderful trans lady who helped me survive the night, and without the clueless bullshit I sometimes get from crisis hotlines. Like, instead of, “Why are hormones/surgery/etc. so important to you? Can’t you just learn to be happy without those things?”, it was, “I know. I totally understand. I’ve been there. You have options, so please don’t give up.”
So yeah, great, life-saving resource.
You can’t pick and choose what parts of feminism you want. You can’t support your queer sisters but not your trans sisters. You can’t support your fat sisters but not your sisters of colour. Being a feminist means creating a positive and equal space for women. The second you start excluding women based on which characteristics you do or do not find appealing you have defeated the whole point of being a feminist.
sometimes out lgbtqia+ people forget how vital it is to preserve safe spaces where closeted people are welcome in their (deserved) frustration at 20 y/o straight dudes calling themselves allies for brownie points.
but the ‘s’ in ‘gsa’ is important—not for the straight people, not for the allies, but for every fourteen year old girl who asks her unsupportive parents for a ride to a meeting under the guise of “allyship”. we can’t get rid of the only chance at community some of the most vulnerable people in ours have.
i like how cis people act like it would be the worst thing in the world not to assume people’s genders i mean we don’t assume people’s names what if you just met someone and you were like “hey emily” and they were like “thats not my name its megan” and you were like “oh well how was i supposed to know. you look like an emily to me. i guess i can try to call you megan but its gonna be hard because i just see you as such an emily”
there’s a new show called “how to get away with murder” and it currently holds the world record for the shortest running tv show. its one and only episode shows a single frame with “be a white cop” in the middle of the screen for 22 minutes including commercials
