1) alleged petty theft is punishable by murder
2) social media (which includes LIVE FOOTAGE) is not credible
3) darren wilson WAS responsible for the death of mike brown but thats not enough to even INDICT HIM
4) a white man is able to murder an 18 year old in cold blood and walk free

this country will never pass up a chance to remind you how little they think of everybody living in black skin
to my fellow white people who are protesting tonight
remember that this isn’t our fight.
it’s not white children being gunned down in the street. we’re here to support. do not speak out of turn, don’t try to steer the protest, don’t speak over the people who are at greatest risk of being shot by cops, don’t voice your white opinions unless asked directly. cooperate with protest organizers, don’t lecture people, don’t try to wrestle your way into leadership positions. stay in your lane. thank you.
On August 9, 2014, Brown, an unarmed black 18-year old, was shot and killed by Wilson, who is white. The shooting led to demonstrations, confrontations with police, and some looting and violence.
And it only takes 9 people agreeing to make a decision, what a coincidence.
^ Seriously, the way grand juries work in Missouri is only 9 people have to agree to pass the decision.
Protect and serve,
That’s a lie,
You don’t care when black kids die.
The Police Memorial in Ferguson has been wrapped, ahead of the grand jury verdict announcement.
i want this to be the first thing broken
Rhymes For Young Ghouls (2014)
This film, set during the 1970s, is very dark and pessimistic story about a teenage Aboriginal girl dealing with the horrific residential school system while navigating an entire community traumatized by the ongoing legacy of colonialism on Turtle Island. It’s some of the best filmmaking I’ve seen in a long time. The film is in English and Mi’kmaq.
Kawennahere Devery Jacobs puts in a heart-wrenching and intense performance. And the cinematography is stunning. You’ve got to see this film! This is truly Indigenous Noir.
I’ve noticed some people are still confused about what the Ferguson grand jury is actually making a decision on.
The grand jury is only deciding “if there is probable cause to believe that [Darren] Wilson committed a crime, and if so, what charge.”
The grand jury is NOT deciding whether or not Darren Wilson is guilty.
They are deciding whether Darren Wilson should be indicted, NOT convicted.
“Ya know, one of us does something criminal and suddenly we’re all criminals.” – this cop on the news about ferguson
what a strange feeling, huh.
